Where are you based Alex? I've got a Fox Continental 2 man I'd be happy to sell for £100.

Don't know about that bivvy but someone will, I guess at that price it is at the bottom end of Fox's bivvy range so quality won't be up to much.

There's also TF Gear banshee 2 man for £130 from Go Outdoors. The Sonik SK-TEK 2 man for £173 from fishdeal. Advanta Protector from AD for £200. All are probably ok.

Think you'd be lucky to get a secondhand 2 manner Trakker for £100. Unless there was something wrong with it.

Not new. The tempest brolly V2 retails at £220 bivvys start a fair bit higher and now go to over a grand

Doubt it, but haven't really looked. Think my one manner with an overwrap was £250, and that was cheap as they were being discontinued. It was new though.

Trakker are very good, but maybe outside your budget?

Either should be ok, they are not the best brands, but they're not the worst either. My lad has a tf gear oval brolly and cyprinid overwrap and they are fine. The only thing I'd say is the cyprinus one hasn't got a peak on to stop the rain coming in. Not the end of the world, my Trakker one hasn't either. Just have to close the door to the top when it's raining.

Another thing to look for is whether an overwrap is available for the bivvy, obviously better if there is. Don't have to buy the overwrap now, you can always buy it later.

Something called a tempest V2 brolly seems to be very highly rated by people on this forum. Is that the Trakker tempest V2 brolly. Is the trakker tempest bivvy also good?

At the moment Im looking at a TF GEAR exteme bivvy or a cyprinus mongoose tactical bivvy. Which would you recommend?

Yes, agree with Phil, if you find one and you're uncertain whether it's any good, just post on here and ask the question, you'll get a quick reply as people are usually pretty helpful.

Facebook marketplace is your best bet - definitely worth going second hand just make sure you see the bivvy erected. Check groundsheet, pegging points, zips and taped seams. Don’t worry about a bit of mud. It’ll soon clean off.

Look for JRC, Chub, Trakker, Cyprinus, fox, Nash, prologic. Try to avoid the weird little chinese brands, the quality will not be as good.

You should get something for £100 if you’re patient. 2 man bivvy’s aren’t in demand as much as 1 man versions or Brolly systems.

You may struggle for a decent quality 2 man for that price unless you are willing to buy 2nd hand as already said. Think you may have just missed out on the Cyprinus auctions where you may have got lucky

Hi,

I am new to carp fishing and as such dont want to spend massive amounts of money on a bivvy. Is there any decent 2 man bivvys to be had for around £100.
